My studio is my laboratory…
“I thrive on experimentation in my creative process. Embracing new and challenging techniques is integral to my growth. When curating new collections, I strive to keep my options open, drawing inspiration from the intricate details of nature. Geometric petal patterns, the hues of an autumn landscape, and delicate insect wings are just a few things that fuel my creativity. My hope is that those who wear my pieces will be inspired to see nature through a fresh lens.“
More fun finds on our second Brimfield scavenger hunt! Includes a sterling flower screw ack earring, brass rose finding, art deco chain and 1905 Indian head penny. I also scored a lovely Smokey colored glass gem (tell me it’s not glass but it has to be since it was 3 for a dollar!) and lastly these sterling lovelies that are meant to be salt and pepper shakers. I am going to repair the tension on them and use them as spice holders for Havdalah! #makecicadatime #havdalah #sterling #antiquing #scavengerhunt #findings #antiquing #antiques #brimfield #brimfieldantiquesshow
My Darwin pendant is coming together! I need to work on shortening the step bezel. Next will be a bail with a finch design. Then I’ll work on the tabs. I’m thinking of making a special custom chain for it too. Stay tuned! #makersgonnamake #makecicadatime #pendant #charlesdarwin #darwin #evolution #treeoflife @baltimorejewelrycenter @molly_rose_jewelry
Here comes project no. 2! Tab setting. I’m using a flat enameled piece I had made of Charles Darwin several years ago and just never did anything with. This will involve his famous Tree of Life sketch “I think” as he began to explore his theory of evolution and the origins of life. I will be doing some etching over the weekend to see if I can capture hop details on the wall of the bezel. If it works out, I might make a chain to go with it. #makecicadatime #charlesdarwin #evolution #finches #treeoflife #pendant @baltimorejewelrycenter @molly_rose_jewelry
I create unique custom pieces
Many ask, ‘Do you take custom orders?’ The answer is a resounding ‘Yes!’ I adore crafting unique pieces for clients and their loved ones. Birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, Mother’s and Father’s Days, or any special occasion—you name it.
I also craft pieces to honor loved ones, including pets. My process blends mementos, old photos, and found objects to create cherished treasures. It all begins with a photo or a story. Curious to know more? Inquire about starting the process.
