Welcome to the Summer of Love, 2021! In celebration of the annual dog day and Brood X periodical cicadas that emerged in Maryland during the 2021 summer, Jeni created a collection of cicada adornments. This is a special edition Art-Deco Lalique-inspired cicada. Every cicada is unique - fabricated by hand as a form of metal origami. The body is hand-formed from 100% sturdy stainless steel on a stainless steel 16 inch chain. Surprisingly light-weight. Cicada is 1.8 inches tall and .75 inches wide. Can be wiped clean or polished with simple jeweler's polishing cloth.
