Art Deco Cicada Wing Earrings – Jade Green

Cicada fore- and hind-wing earrings inspired by the Art-Deco style of Rene´ Lalique. 18 ga. brass wing frames (2 sided), in faux plique-à-jour style, jade-green tissue paper encapsulated in "Glowbee" chemoluminescent powdercoat for sturdy long wear. Yes, these glow in the dark! Brass ear-wires with blossom details. Very lightweight. Created from a detailed scientific illustration by the artist of a cicada wings. Wing vein pattern is detailed on both the front and back. Also available in other colors in brass, and without color treatment in titanium with sterling silver blossoms.  All of my designs are handmade.
