Art-Deco Large Cicada Pendant – Japanese Summer

This design is the first created especially for my Japanese Summer collection. Inspired by the cicadas found in Japan, and Japanese porcelain (Kutani ware), this cicada features a one-of-a-kind porcelain shard that is hand carved into a soft rectangle. This is Jeni's signature origami cicada design with an added splash of color.  Every cicada is unique - fabricated by hand as a form of metal origami. The body is hand-formed from 100% brass. Cicada is 2.5" tall. The finish is sealed with clear jeweler's wax finish for water-proofing and to protect the surface for long wear. Can be wiped clean or polished with simple jeweler's polishing cloth.
