Art-Deco Mini Cicada Pendant – Carnelian

Debuting in the Winter 2022 collection: This is one of Jeni's Art-Deco Lalique-inspired cicadas. Every cicada is unique - fabricated by hand as a form of metal origami. The body is hand-formed from 100% copper and silver-plated to give it its cool tones. A 9,mm rose-cut trillion shaped carnelian cabochon rests in the center of it's thorax. The eyes are made from 3mm garnet cabochons set in sterling silver. Cicada is 1" tall by .5" wide. The finish is sealed with clear jeweler's wax finish for water-proofing and to protect the surface for long wear. Can be wiped clean or polished with simple jeweler's polishing cloth.
