Art Deco Cicada Wing Clip-Ons

Cicada fore- and hing-wing earrings inspired by the Art-Deco style of Rene´ Lalique. 18 ga. brass wing frames (2 sided), in faux plique-à-jour style, rich ocean blue tissue paper encapsulated in cyanoacrylate for sturdy long wear. Brass clip-ons for non-pierced ears with prong-set glass details. Very lightweight. Created from a detailed scientific illustration by the artist of a cicada wings. Wing vein pattern is detailed on both the front and back. Also available in other colors in brass with blossom ear-wires for pierced ears, and without color treatment in titanium with sterling silver blossoms.  All of my designs are handmade.
